Over the past six weeks, our pupils have enjoyed the fantastic opportunity to work with the wonderful Cathy Carey, who has been coaching afterschool 'Gaelic fundamentals' sessions for our Primary 1/2 pupils and Primary 3–7 girls.
A key player for one of our local clubs, st Ergnat's Moneyglass, and legend of Antrim LGFA, Cathy has become a valued mentor and inspiration to our entire GAA family. These sessions have complemented our in school provision which aims to develop our pupils' confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm to ensure they remain motivated to keep improving and engaging in our Gaelic games.
Many thanks to Coach Cathy for sharing her love of the game with us! We were so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to welcoming you back to Moneynick in the not-so-distant future!
