Thinkuknow Online Safety

15th Apr 2020

Thinkuknow is the education programme of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) aimed at young people and their safe use of the internet. It is based around three key themes:
• How to have fun
• How to stay in control (or how to take control)
• How to report a problem
As you guide and supervise your child/children with their learning at home we are aware of the advantages of accessing apps, stories, videos and games to support and consolidate learning. As parents and teachers, we must also be aware of the dangers and be vigilant in managing and monitoring online activities.
Thinkuknow have produced the second set of resources which contains 15-minute activities you can do at home with your child/children. Making an Online Safety activity part of our home learning routine will ensure we are continuing to equip our children to develop lifelong E-safety skills.

Our school’s website has further information to support you as parents with online learning and screen time. It can be found on the home screen bar at www.moneynickps.com click the blue Curriculum tab, scroll down to ICT and across to Online Safety.#keepsafeonline
