Primary 6 and 7 built a scaled solar system using sheets of toilet roll to show how far each planet in our solar system is from the sun. The pupils were learning how the planets rotate as they orbit the sun and that a year on Earth is a full revolution of the sun. Outdoor Learning is a core part of our School Development Plan and is embedded through all areas of our curriculum developing our thinking skills and personal capabilities. #teamwork #problemsolving
