Our Lenten Trócaire collection raised £351.60. Well done everyone, an outstanding achievement.
Trócaire is an important part of the ethos of our school. It is our faith in action.
We want the children to know about developing world issues:
- This year’s theme was water.
- The country the pupils were studying was Malawi, with a focus on Patrick and Patricia’s family.
The children demonstrated their commitment to making the world a fairer place by raising money for Trócaire:
- Wear your own clothes Friday
- Annual Easter Egg Draw
We are a Take 5 school. Trócaire helps us to: Give (charity), Connect (to children in other parts of the world),Keep Learning (about developing world issues) and Take Notice (climate change, the developing world).
We wish to extend our sincere thanks to our school community for once again supporting our works of charity. We also wish to thank our school councillors who worked to ensure this fundraising campaign was successful.
