In June our Y6&7 children attended the ‘Be Safe’ event in Antrim. As one of the highest performing schools at the Be Safe Quiz, the class have won themselves a trip to RADAR in Sydenham Harbour Estate, Belfast! CONGRATULATIONS to the Y6&7 of June 2017. Unfortunately, our ‘old’ Y7 pupils have left us for pastures new – so a decision was made to invite the new Y6 class – lucky ducks!
RADAR is Northern Ireland’s first and only, life sized, interactive safety and life skills education centre. This unique and innovative Centre has a full sized street scene, with a house, bus, train, fire station, court room, prison cell, shop, boat and much, much more. The Y6&7 had a super day out and learned lots of interesting new facts. They have now returned from RADAR in one piece - although one of them was arrested for a short time but later released!
