The Economic Development Section of the Council in partnership with Young Enterprise Northern Ireland held an exciting in-person 'Business Masterclass', today in Mossley Mill, Newtownabbey.
Our Primary 6 pupils along with their friends from Duneane Primary spent a fun-packed session learning about business and their local economy. Working on their individual product, the children gained an insight into the business world and were given the opportunity to develop enterprise and entrepreneurial skills. The children are encouraged to complete their product back in the classroom. The finished pieces will be entered into a competition for best product design. There is a first prize of a £50 Amazon voucher and 4 runners up prizes of £25 Amazon vouchers up for grabs (across all schools). Winners will be notified the week beginning 11th December and prizes distributed. We wish everyone great success. Good luck!
